Welcome to the new!

We're excited to share our completely redesigned website with you that provides more information than ever before about how people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities can lead an active, healthy lifestyle.

In addition to useful physical activity and healthy eating tips from our Council members and guest bloggers, the website also has a new look and feel, as well as updated navigation capabilities. A few of our favorite new site features include:

  • Real People, Real Stories. Want a chance to be featured on Submit a success story about how you've incorporated physical activity or healthy eating into your life, and check back to see if your testimonial made it to the site! Be sure to read how Council members Grant Hill and Carl Edwards use easy and creative ideas to lead healthy lifestyles.
  • Council Member Spotlights. Did you know that Drew Brees and his son Baylen share the same birthday or that Council co-chair Dominique Dawes is learning how to knit? Learn more about our Council members and read some fun facts you probably didn't know about them.
  • Blog. This blog will feature regular posts from President's Council members and staff to provide you with the latest news on fitness, sports, and nutrition related topics.
  • #AskFitnessGov. Are you interested in new strategies to better your physical activity routine and eating habits? Take this opportunity to ask the President's Council your physical activity and nutrition questions. If you're on Twitter, be sure to use the hashtag #AskFitnessGov and tweet your questions about physical activity, good nutrition and other topics to @FitnessGov Exit Disclaimer! Not yet on Twitter?
