DOW ACCESS TO PHYSICAL ACTIVITY PROCESS

Instructions for completing the Access to Physical Activity (ATPA) process:

Step 1: Conduct a site assessment.  Determine readiness and willingness at worksite to pursue physical activity options.  Identify a cross-discipline project team to help facilitate the process.

Step 2:  Agreement and engagement of worksite leadership and stakeholders to implement the ATPA process.

                  Employee Interest Assessment (PDF: 64KB)

Additionally, it is a good time for the project team to look at worksite health and safety data.

Step 3:  Valuation of physical activity options and development of recommendations

The next step is to carry out planning for and implementation of the option(s) with the highest ranking as identified by the Physical Activity Decision Matrix.
