Healthy Holiday Challenge Card
The Healthy Challenge Card is a simple way to begin integrating healthy habits into your everyday routine. The 10 “Be Active” and “Eat Well” challenges featured on the card encourage you to make incremental lifestyle changes to improve your health. Print the card, share it with a friend and work together to achieve each goal over the course of the week! If your New Year's Resolution is to improve your health, this is the most effective and sustainable way to achieve goals. Can you complete all 10 challenges?

Be Active & Eat Well!
Of course, the best way to maintain good health is to be active and eat well all year long. So, after playing cards with your family or tuning into Jack Hanna’s Wild Countdown on Litton’s Weekend Adventure, be sure to venture outside for a brisk walk or snowball throw with friends! When at the grocery story, compare the nutrition label on food packing and select healthier options for you and your family.
Regular physical activity and good nutrition are essential to maintaining a healthy weight, reducing your risk of chronic diseases (like heart disease and cancer) and promoting overall health. Challenge yourself to make health a priority this holiday season; after all, it only takes a few small lifestyle changes to become a better YOU.
Get outside and get active. The holidays are about spending time with your family so instead of sitting inside watching TV all day, go take a hike, a walk or organize a family flag football game. Dominique Dawes
