Emmitt
Smith of Irving, Texas Mr. Smith is currently
an NFL Running Back for the Arizona Cardinals. Formerly,
while with the Dallas Cowboys, Mr. Smith led the team
to three Super Bowl titles (1993, 1994 and 1996), and
earned regular season and Super Bowl (XXVIII) MVP honors
in 1993. He is a four-time NFL rushing leader (19911993
and 1995) and is number two on the NFL's all-time rushing
list within 540 yards of claiming the record
currently held by Walter Payton. Mr. Smith's primary
focus off the field is working with and aiding youth
and children. The Open Doors Foundation, which he helped
to create, supports other organizations and faith-based
programs that provide educational, motivational, financial
and leadership empowerment services to today's young
people. Mr. Smith was the Cowboys' United Way spokesman
for 1994 and 1995, and is the founder of Emmitt Smith
Charities whose mission is to provide educational scholarships
to under-served youth in Pensacola, Florida. Mr. Smith
is very active in the Make A Wish Foundation and also
works with several other charitable organizations. A
graduate of the University of Florida, Mr. Smith received
his Bachelor's degree in Public Recreation in 1996.
