There are many activities that I will be managing, leading, and following to promote physical activity in 2006. At school I have prepared and devised a fitness-only curriculum, which will be beginning this spring semester. I regularly supervise and participate in open fitness/swim periods for students and staff.

I teach various classes at the YMCA of Milwaukee during the week, focusing on yoga. I try to integrate my YMCA status with the schools and community by promoting special events (free fitness days, etc.), fitness activities, and programs that the YMCA has to offer.

I also will be a part of various special events in 2006, which include charity run/walks, and Special Olympics events (track and field, basketball, etc.).

I teach Physical Education and Health at McKinley Middle Charter School in Racine, Wisconsin. I work for the Racine Unified School District. Framed on my wall, in my school office, is my personal Presdential Physical Fitness award with President Richard Nixon's name.

Here at McKinley we actually schedule in two separate times when the Physical Education teachers test for the Presidential and National awards. During the awards ceremony, at the end of the year, these awards are given on the stage in front of family, friends and staff.
